A fine portrait of Lady with powdered hair, wearing a white dress with blue ribboned waistband and fine lace veil decorated with gold spots
In gold frame the reverse with plaited hair
Little is known about this artist who painted some excellent miniatures of which this is one. He exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1784-1827. The angular eyebrows seen in this portrait are typical of Barry's hand.
