Ken Tynan Chainsaw Carver
Performing: August 9 & 10, 16 & 17 at The Simple Gifts Stage
T he buzz of a chainsaw and the scent of freshly carved wood will once again fill the air at Shaker Woods Festival this August, as Butler, Pennsylvania’s own Ken Tynan returns for two weekends of live carving demonstrations. A former billboard painter turned master chainsaw artist, Ken will be showcasing his remarkable talent on August 9 & 10, and August 16 & 17, with multiple
performances each day.
Ken plans to complete carvings, each created live in front of festivalgoers at
the Simple Gifts Stage during these time slots: 10:30–11:30 am, 12:30–1:30 pm and 2:30–3:30 pm
