   One Day TOurs
Just need to “get away” for a day? Then try one of our great day trips. We have scheduled relaxing and entertaining trips to casinos, broadway plays and many other exciting attractions. Come join us and get away for a day. Payment on day tours must be received within two weeks of making your reservation. After two weeks, unpaid reservations are released.
TOUR PROTECTION: Low-cost tour protection is now available for one-day tours. Tour protection can be very beneficial, especially if your tour involves any expense(s) that cannot be recuperated should you have to cancel. Tour protection can be purchased for $10.00 a day and must be purchased 30 days prior to departure. A complete refund of the cost of the tour will be made up to 48 hours before departure. To cancel a tour, a telephone call must be received in ourofficebythisdeadline. InthecaseofaMondayorTuesday departure, the cancellation must be received in our office before 5 pm on the Friday before the tour departs.
PAYMENTS must be made in full for any day tour WITHIN two weeks of MAKING the reservation or the reservation may be released with no further obligation by McCarter Coach & Tour. The only receipt you will receive is your cancelled check or credit card receipt. Seats are assigned by the DATE FULL PAYMENT IS MADE.
CANCELLATION POLICY: On one day tours complete refunds will be made up to one month prior to departure. Less than one month to two weeks prior, we will refund monies we cannot recover, such as tickets, attractions, etc. Less than two weeks there can be no refund.
NO TICKET will be sent to you on day tours. These will be held in our office and be distributed on the bus enroute to the event. A call will be made a few days prior to the trip’s departure to determine your pickup point and verify the time of departure.
DEPARTURE POINTS: Due to the nature of the one-day tours, departure points will only be our Calcutta Office in East Liverpool and our Chippewa Office in Beaver Falls.
GRATUITIES: Gratuities for the escort and driver are not included in thecostofthetour. However,itiscustomary,butnotobligatory,to show your appreciation to them. It is suggested $3.00 per person for theescortand$3.00perpersonforthedriver. Wecouldincludethis in the tour cost, but we feel that you will get the best service when it is handled on an individual basis.
TRAVELERS NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: McCarter Coach & Tour regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to a guest for walking, wheelchairs, motorized scooters, dining, or any personal needs. Guests needing such assistance must be accompanied by an able companion who will assist them. If you need to bring support of any kind, i.e. wheelchairs, scooter, oxygen, etc., please alert our tour office when making your reservation. PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF WALKING ON EACH TOUR IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH WALKING COMFORTABLY.
