Winter Wonder
By Carey T.
A cold morning, I awoke
And saw a sky filled with smoke.
I ran out into the hall
Making sure I will not fall.
I opened the door to see
Snow in front of me.
Snow lays like bright, white frosting
With even more snow falling.
I was stuck to the cool floor,
Standing at the open door.
Cold winds ran in a rush
Shaking the leaves of a bush.
I will definitely miss
Winter and its snowy bliss.
I’ll miss the snow and its view
It’ll come again, fresh and new.
