Silent Night
By Savannah H.
The sun sets, painting the sky.
Plunging the town into eternal darkness.
Bare branches sway in the winter wind.
Giant trees scrape the starry sky.
Some animals sleep like rocks in dens.
Some come out to play in the dark.
The wailing wind softly settles.
Leaving the town silent and still.
