Page 64 - Winter Poetry 2018
P. 64

A little girl plays
In falling snow
Wearing her heaviest coat Keeping nice and warm
Having so much fun
Building snow families
Looking around, she is feeling fuzzy Not from warmth, but from beauty
Never had she noticed
The landscape all around Or even how the snow Glistens, shimmers, gleams
Red berries standout
Accompanied by the robin
Pine tree scent, so strong
Bringing back her Christmas memories
Winter wonderland Transparent icicles drip
Snow still falling
On her head, tickling her nose
A girl, hungry
Builds a snow cone
Sharing with her snow family Thankful for winter beauty Thankful for winter beauty
