The water sat still, frozen, unaware
A solid ice sheet
A giant's foot coming down
Shattering it’s small heart into broken shards
Scattered on the cold, hard ground
Like a lost soul
Shattered
Sad, frozen, tears
Falling from bleak sky
Covering the faithful fragments
As days pass, dark shys away
Leaving green grass
And hope for better days
But the fragments of this soul
Have been lost
Laila
They are gone . . .
