The announcement of the planned change of ownership of the Biogen Hillerød site
to FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB) will naturally raise a number of questions about the future benefits to you as an employee at the
Hillerød site.
Discussions regarding the acquisition of the site have been ongoing for some time. At the
core of these discussions we have given great consideration to the impact on you. Therefore for a two year period, your compensation package will remain unchanged with the exception
of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)/Restricted Stock Units (RSU) where an equivalent benefit will be provided. Any changes to the compensation package after this initial two year period are expected to be minor. Your years of service with Biogen will be recognized and accounted for by FDB.
The FDB benefits will commence at time of transition estimated to be in early 2019 after appropriate business transaction approvals are obtained. More information regarding any changes to specific benefits, i.e. ESPP or Long-term Incentives (RSU), will be communicated at a later date once transition solutions are identified and approved.
