We don't always eat on the resort. We love Pieter?FAMILY?Ss on the La Manga strip, and we go into the local village of Los Belones, which has nice little tapas bars. We also go to Cabo de Palos (the local fishing port), which has excellent restaurants and a lovely atmosphere.
We go to Cartagena for our shopping and also because of its Spanish nautical history, which is fascinating and its great restaurants. The La Manga strip, which is located between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean seas, boasts some superb
beaches and is fun for all the family.
We are a very sporty, Gordon plays a lot of golf and enjoys all three courses, as do our sons Gavin and Craig. Gordon and I power walk through the complex every second day, and we also spend time at the gym. To relax, I love sunbathing and reading books. We try to go to the Par 47 every day (I don't play golf, but it'sbeautiful!).
