Science Awards
“Race to Save the Planet”
Amber Washington from Norwood Morialta High School was awarded the Oliphant Trophy for her Games entry, “Race to Save the Planet” at the Presentation Ceremony held at Brighton Concert Hall on Friday 22 September 2017. The prestigious Oliphant Trophy was presented to the worthy recipient by Ms Monica Oliphant.

The presentation of this Award as well as the R-7 and 8-12 Awards and Sponsor Prizes were conducted in
two Presentation Ceremonies. Dr Philip Gregory, Head of Gene Regulation in Cancer Laboratory, Centre for Cancer Biology, University of South Australia, and Dr Claire Jessup, Lecturer, Flinders University of South Australia, and Head of the Islet Biology Laboratory, were the Masters of Ceremony for both Presentations.
