A LETTER FROM OUR CEO
I HOPE THIS MESSAGE FINDS YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES SAFE AND WELL.
During this time of extreme challenge, as we experience a global pandemic compounded by
protests against inequality, demonstrations and even some violent events throughout our cities,
it is more important than ever to focus on solidarity and preparing ourselves to go above and
beyond what is typically required of us. It is imperative that we stand together as a strong and
united community, respecting not only the measures we put in place to help improve peoples’
lives but also the amazing diversity among us.
Just as important as standing together today, is remembering what brings us together every day. We are Edgewood and
Vantage, an incredibly resilient, passionate and caring group of professionals who are in this business because of our
service-oriented drive and desire to give of ourselves for the benefit of others. That is what keeps us engaged, that is
what our corporate culture is about—and that is what will help us get through this challenging time.
Our priority has been, and continues to be, the health and safety of our employees, our residents and our
partners. It is our goal to stay ahead of the constantly changing environment in order to provide superior services to
our owners and our communities while providing the utmost in care for our employees. We are in the process of
developing robust approaches for the phased pathways of ‘back to work’ and those plans for operations at our
managed properties and our company’s headquarters will be shared with all employees.
WE ARE EDGEWOOD AND VANTAGE, AN INCREDIBLY RESILIENT, PASSIONATE AND CARING
GROUP OF PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE IN THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE OF OUR SERVICE-ORIENTED
DRIVE AND DESIRE TO GIVE OF OURSELVES FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS.
Our thoughts are with those affected by these events and our focus is on helping those in need. The Ford Family
Foundation has made a generous donation on behalf of Edgewood and Vantage Management to the Capital Food
Bank. The impact these dollars will have on feeding the hungry is signficant and we are proud to be part of this effort.
Edgewood and Vantage Management also join all of those who oppose racism in any form and support programs that
can assist with the needs of oppressed people who continue to suffer. We are making a donation to the NAACP Legal
Defense Fund in an effort to assist with this time of injustice and better policing for all, not just some.
Thank you for your continued support, we are all in this together. I wish you and your families safety and strength in the
weeks and months ahead. I am confident we will emerge from this stronger than ever!
