Both his and Vibha’s love and thoughtful understanding was my support, guide and comfort during moments of despair.
I never can forget Bhaiya’s advice when I was leaving to join Shravan in 1979. He very categorically said, no mincing of words – Bhabhiji you should go but do not disturb Nandita or Harsh. Nandita is already engaged, her wedding will be held here as normal family weddings and Harsh. Bhai Saheb might
have given up his rights but this is Harsh’s home, his heritage and birth right. You should not deny him that. Family ties being very strong this was the
ideal advice and so it was and has been. It is what insured we could weather the turbulent moments in the UAE – there never was a moment of concern as far as Nandita and Harsh were concerned.
I could not decide which of these I could write about so here is my little rendition about a wonderful brother-in-law who has been a younger brother, a friend, a support and a mentor.
Happy 70th Birthday dear Bhaiya, may it be full of love, cheer and joy, an abundance of flowers from Mother Earth, full of Blessings
from Above and encore galore. With lots of love.
