A fond memory of Govind I reacall. one day during our time at Trinity, Cambridge, I recall standing atop the steps outside the dining hall with Govind.
Surveying the number of tourists crossing Great Court, Govind was moved to exclaim “there’s too many damned foreigners in this place." This was
followed by a collapse into giggles at the incongruity of it being him to say this.
