"Time rushes by, changes many things,
but never the love and regards that this wish brings."
As I look back, to 1974, when you came into OUR life (yes jiji, our!) - you were the very Oak Tree Jijaji! Tall in strength, deep rooted principles, far reaching knowledge & wisdom. From me trying to impress you with big words like "abscond from bed" to being the proverbial kebab-mein-haddi, sleeping with Jiji and you on trips to Muz to you beamingly feeding us gulab jamuns!
But over the years, something changed and you became so much more, from Jijaji to My Jija! One of life's meaningful relationships.
Someone who is best to travel with: early morning (punctual) starts - with even earlier evenings winding up! Sharing a taste for interesting food - and that glass of wine! Chilling on the pristinely clean (dusted again by us)
hammocks - while Jiji MK Ishira adventure into the grime of sand and sea!
Someone willing to give up your afternoon spot on the bed - so i could nap with Jiji!
Someone to talk things over with: from life’s little clarifications and difficult decisions. And for me, one of my biggest life moments – was when you
called for my advice! And of course, someone to keep Mayank in line!
