Chacha was the front face of the Swarup family when Nandita and I were married, he was the points man for all things wedding and also organised everything. Many years after our wedding, we were talking about weddings and how baraats rarely reached in time. The Singhal family had married off many boys and we have maintained the proud record of the Singhal baraat always reaching the bride’s place in time.
