Charity is a kind of social movement
Voluntarism: Voluntarism is the oldest form of assisting others, and the corner- stone of any philanthropic action. The term refers to the action of an individual who willingly gives unpaid help, in the form of time, services or skills, through an organization or group (Burlingame 2004). Voluntary action has impacts beginning from individual levels up to social movements and to the highest applicable level, the society as whole (Ott, Steven J. and Dicke 2012).
We want people to voluntarily donate some of their resources such as food, water and other essential supplies to help the people who are in need of help. We aim to encourage people to give and help the community and the society by donating whatever they can donate to help people who are unable to sup- port themselves and their family. When people come together as a whole together we can create a change. Donating to charity is the perfect opportuni- ty to make a difference in the world. By making a difference to someoneʼs life, you are making a statement that your life was worthwhile because you made a contribution to society.
