Rothstein holds a BA and MFA from Boston University. She has been a professional photographer for over forty years, has taught digital photography and imaging at colleges and art centers throughout New England, and has also worked as a photographic specialist for Dart- mouth College, NH. She was awarded artist residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and the Baer Art Center in Hofsos, Iceland, and directed the award-winning PHO- TOSTOP Gallery in White River Junction, VT. Her work
as been exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States, and is in numerous private and public col- lections, including the Polaroid Permanent International Exhibition Photography Collection and the John Hancock and the Radisson Group. Her encaustic and cold wax paintings are featured in the book, Cold Wax Medium: Techniques, Concepts and Conversations by Rebecca Crowell and Jerry McLaughlin. She teaches encaustic
and cold wax painting workshops, and is a presenter and teacher at the Provincetown annual International Encaus- tic Conference, RI.
