Gavish received her MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, CA. Previously, she had earned a PhD in Physical Chemistry, which continues to influence her art and science prac- tice. She is represented by the LAMINAproject for art and science platform. Her works have been exhibited internationally in solo shows, including at the Budapest Museum, LIU Brooklyn, Hillyer in DC, Garrison art centers in New York, Spinerei in Leipzig, Germany, and Sandra Lee in San Francis- co, CA. Among group shows, she has exhibited in the Biobat Art Space in Brooklyn; Radiator Gal- lery in NYC; Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco; Plain Site in DC; Stanford University; ZeroOne Silicon Valley Bianale; Venus Knitting in Brooklyn; Tachles Berlin; Sonoma Art Museum in California; Bogota Art Fair, Columbia; among others. She also is a reviewer for Sciart Magazine, and she lectures extensively on art and science. She has curated group shows in the New York area and was awarded several projects and artist residencies in New York City and Europe.
