Huon’s work is an exploration of the transformational power of nature and of the outdoors.
Born from her passion for climbing and the mountains, her work began as depiction of the places she experienced as well as an hommage
to the beauty of nature and of our planet; her delicately structured linework is an invitation to a meditative visual voyage. Through her relationship with these landscapes, she has mined a deeper dialogue —the mountains are now metaphors for the human journey. They have become symbols and a filter for understanding and processing human emotions, for the exploration of our connection to the natural world as well as to ourselves, through our interaction with that very nature.
