Solanki is from Ahmedabad-Gujarat, India. He earned his undergradu- ate degree in Drawing and Painting from Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts, and his MFA in Creative Portrait Painting from M. J. College, Jalgo- an, Maharastra. He was awarded First Prize in Painting in the 59th Gujarat State lalitkala Academy competition. His first solo show “Playing Marbles” was held in 2012, and his work has been included in many group as well as juried exhibitions.
