Saems received a BFA from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA. Her work has been shown at numerous galleries, including The Clark Gallery, Lincoln, MA; Fuller Museum, Brockton, MA; Ferron Gallery, Northampton, MA; The Farm Project and Off Main Galleries, Wellfleet, MA; and the Provincetown Art Museum, MA. She has been the recipient of awards by the Concord Art Association and the Duxbury Art Association. For three years Saems was a docent at the Boston Institute of Contemporary Art. She has taught at many art centers including Harvard University Office of the Arts, Boston Center for Adult Education and ARTSCAPE Cape Cod.
