“My linocut practice is rooted in
storytelling, and a deep connection to place. Working with traditional tools and oil-based inks, I cut each image into lino blocks and print them by hand, embracing the slow, delib- erate rhythm of the process. Each print bears the physical marks of labour — black ink on skin, the echo of repetitive motion — that link my practice to the industrial past of my home region in the North of England. Through bold contrasts and layered textures, I aim to express the quiet, often over- looked mystery that lives within the familiar.
