Boruck lives and works in the Los Angeles, CA, area. She holds an MFA in Painting from Cal State University Northridge and a BFA from Cali- fornia College of the Arts in San Francisco. She has received a USA Projects Funding Grant for The Butterfly Hurricanes Project, a Durfee Grant, a George Sugarman Grant, and a City of Pasade- na Individual Artist Grant. Her work has been ex- hibited at the Long Beach Museum of Art, Penn State Altoona, Ferencyarosi Gallery Budapest, Art Dialogue Prague, and many other venues inter- nationally. From 2013–2018 she developed and directed Surrogate Gallery Projects (SGP), a cura- torial project dedicated to facilitating fellowship between under-represented contemporary artists, under-used/empty commercial spaces. SGP has won multiple grants and was a fiscally sponsored project under the Fulcrum Arts’ EMERGE pro- gram. Boruck is an Adjunct Professor at Cal State University Northridge and is a faculty member in the LA-based Ryman Arts program.
