Born in Kiev, Burdakov grew up in the Ukraine and the United Kingdom. He stud- ied neuroscience at the University of Cambridge and sculpture at the Royal College of Art in London. Burdakov has exhibited internationally, presenting his first museum exhibition, Assembly, at Yorkshire Sculpture Park in 2015. Among other venues, his work has been shown at Palazzo Costantino in Palermo, Kunsthal 44 Moen in Denmark, Hauser and Wirth Somerset, NIROX Foundation in Johan- nesburg, MuseumsQuartier Wien, Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin, Eden Project UK, and Roundhouse Theatre in London. He has given talks and workshops at many institutions, including BMW Guggenheim Lab Berlin and Architectural Association in London. Burdakov is based in London and Berlin.
