Anal suckers used to hold on to pubescent females. The male drags the female around after him everywhere he goes. Nothing happens during this stage but a guarantee of a mate (the creatures are blind). This can continue even after the female dies. Male may carry her around with him even after she’s no longer living.
Once thought to be harmless, marriage has been found clinging to the internal portion of the brain responsible for guidance. When you’re old enough, it’s time that seems unsteady.

The tongue is a speechless animal that vibrates in front of another animal, and the two of them then have entirely too much to say, which can be done wordlessly, by simply arriving in the wrong location. Can’t the children stop touching each other?
