 Hollingshead was the recipient of the University of Chichester Award in the 2012 National Open Art Competition, and a painting about colonialism in Madagascar was shortlisted for the 2019 Jacksons Art Prize. Many of his larger paintings are in the collection of Primavera Gallery in Cambridge, and he is repre- sented by King House Gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon. He runs an Open Studio/Gallery showing recent paintings in his hometown of Swanage and recently finished working on a small series of paintings representing working conditions in the countries he has visited. He is currently painting Hierarchy, a pile of people, a sort of social pyramid representing British society.
