“My studio practice is built on systems of research; everyday I scan the media-scape for cues, images or phrases that hint at these deeper
narratives. In making I engage in hybrid methods, working at the point where drawing, print and painting intersect. The images have a sense of minimal real- ism that is inspired by architectural illustration, comic books, cartoon language, old signs, graffiti, graffiti removal, information graphics, news footage, con- sumer packaging, instructional manuals and cinematic space/time.”
