Tornabene graduated from Long Island University in New York with a BFA in Photog- raphy, magna cum laude. She has been the recipient of several awards and exhibits internationally. Her work has been reviewed and appeared in numerous publications including The Eye of Photography, OpenEye, Corridor Elephant, The New York Times, Newsday, and other fine art online and print magazines/blogs. She has spoken about her work at universities and artists’ groups, and her images have invoked essays and prose. Her photography is included in several personal and institutional collections in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Hungary, and Japan.
