Strategic Planning for Law Firms
Does the Firm Need a Reality Check?
You may have a firm full of “the glass is half empty” pessimists or one full of “the glass is half full” optimists. If the latter, they may not see the issues everyone else does. They may not appreciate the need and importance of change. The firm needs to have the tough conversations and difficult discussions about what’s not working and what needs fixing.
The Practice and Business of Law
Firms succeed because their lawyers are both great lawyers and great business people. Your lawyers must buy into this principle – they are both lawyers and business people. They are great advocates and great at developing business. This world view is necessary for a successful, vibrant firm.
