Chief for the State Bar of Arizona and Senior
Editor of Arizona Attorney Magazine.
Our Winter Meeting begins with a welcome
address, meeting our new members, followed by a
warm and relaxed gathering on the Sunset Lawn.
Set against sweeping views of the surrounding
desert landscape and distant mountain ranges,
this open-air reception offers the perfect backdrop
for reconnecting with colleagues and friends. As
flights arrive throughout the day, members can
ease into the week with signature cocktails, fine
wines, and hors d’oeuvres.
This first evening is designed for fellowship and
camaraderie. Whether catching up with old friends
or meeting new faces, the reception marks the
start of meaningful conversations and connections
that will continue throughout the meeting. Dress
is casual—“come as you are”—so members
can step straight from travel into a welcoming
environment that sets the tone for the days ahead.
Following the reception, guests may join one of
the optional dine-around groups or enjoy dinner on
their own.
