HIKING TRAILS
CAMELBACK MOUNTAIN (16 MILES)
Camelback Mountain challenges hikers with steep
trails that reward them with panoramic city views,
inspiring outdoor enthusiasts with its rugged beauty
and iconic presence.
MCDOWELL MOUNTAIN REGIONAL PARK
(26 MILES)
McDowell Mountain Regional Park in Fountain Hills,
AZ, offers over 50 miles of multi-use trails for hiking,
mountain biking, and horseback riding, ranging in
length and difficulty, with options for both easy and
strenuous hikes.
MCDOWELL SONORAN PRESERVE
(10 MILES)
The McDowell Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale,
Arizona, offers a vast network of non-motorized,
multi-use trails (hike, bike, and horse) spanning over
30,500 acres of preserved desert habitat, with 11
trailheads and more than 230 miles of trails.
PINNACLE PEAK PARK (10 MILES)
Pinnacle Peak, situated near Scottsdale, Arizona,
features a 4.1-mile out-and-back hiking trail that
traverses the Sonoran Desert, renowned for its
moderate difficulty and stunning vistas, with an
elevation gain of approximately 1,020 feet.
