Summer SolStiCe: December 22, 9:22 am AEDT
Midsummer is the time to enjoy the fruits of your intentions, and to bring your creations to a peak. At the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year and the time of maximum light, you can reflect on how your Spring seeds have grown and either keep growing them, or re-align your intentions based on how your desires have matured. In the Southern Hemisphere, Midsummer precedes the new Gregorian year, and it’s natural to set New Year’s resolutions or goals around this time.
Lammas (halfway between the Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox) is the beginning of the harvest. After the peak of Summer’s merriment, it’s time to start reaping what you’ve sown and receiving the benefits of your labour. At Lammas, reflect on all that you’ve accomplished and reward yourself for bringing your intentions into manifestation.
