HALL OF FAME
2023 saw the celebration of 77 years of Basketball WA at the Annual Awards Gala Night. It also saw the opportunity to celebrate the Induction of two outstanding members of the community into the WA Basketball Hall of Fame, which was held on Saturday 22 July in the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre with over 640 guests in attendance.
The concept of the Hall of Fame is to enrich the basketball heritage by recognising players, coaches, referees and officials who made outstanding and impactful contributions to the game of basketball, enshrining WA's best preserves and also celebrating our culture to the sporting landscape and WA community. The HOF inductees are also now permanently acknowledged in the Bendat Basketball Centre.
Inductees celebrated were Fiona Hannan (nee Robinson) and Paul Rogers.
