February and March Special Events at the TTCC
Let fun find you this Feb- ruary and March at the Tap- ply-Thompson Community Center (TTCC) with a sched- ule that is packed full of things to do for all ages and appetites. On Thursday, February 12th, at high noon, we will be host- ing our annual Valentine Lun- cheon for Seniors at the Bristol United Church of Christ. For just $2 per person, join co- hosts -the Bristol Rotary Club for a tasty holiday meal, bingo, door prizes, and more. Open to all Newfound Area Seniors, please reserve your spot by Tuesday, February 12th by calling the community center at (603) 744-2713.
The next day, on Febru- ary 13th, we will be holding our annual Father & Daugh- ter Valentine Dance at the TTCC, with all ages welcome. Festivities will begin in two staggered time slots with the first starting at 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. for the Pre-K to 2nd grade group and from 7:45 to 9:00 p.m. for those in grades three and up. For just $20 per couple {and $5 for each ad- ditional child} you can enjoy music, refreshments, prizes throughout the night, and corsages for those who have pre-registered. A dance con- test will also be featured for this very popular yearly event.
On Saturday, February 14th, we return with our Parents Night Out program, going from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. for ages four and up. For $25 per child, the Teen Council al- ways has an amazing evening planned, including a special dinner, games, crafts, bingo, and a variety of themed ac- tivities. Parents, give yourself a well-deserved night out— while your kids enjoy an eve- ning packed with friends, food, and fun!
A quick spring and sum- mer reminder -registrations for baseball, softball, and t-ball open on February 2nd, with Summer Camp registrations opening on March 2nd this year. Please visit our website

To round out the special events roster, we will be hold- ing another Mother & Son - Minute to Win It Game Night on Friday, March 13th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. For $20 per couple and $5 each additional child, families com- pete for prizes and bragging rights while performing feats of skill and precision.
