participated for many years, as- sociation member Tonya Mayo said they are pleased to welcome a few new locations.
“Groovy Noodle and Ange- la’s Cut Above salon were two of the places that will also have drop boxes this year. It’s great to have these new businesses in- volved with Operation Santa,” she said.
Other boxes can be found at Marshall’s, Lighthouse Credit Union, Norway Bank, Bieder- man’s Deli, Plymouth Senior Center, Main Street Dental, Meredith Village Savings Bank, MedCheck Urgent Care, Plym- outh Police Department; Wilson Tire, Bank of NH; Plymouth Town Hall; Rand’s Hardware; Last Chair Brewery and Restau- rant; Pease Library and Plym- outh Fire Department.
Those who would like to sign up to have their children be part of the Operation Santa program this year may do so online. The Town of Plymouth website has applications available through the town fire department’s link.
Adults can click on the link then fill out the information and send it in to get children registered. The deadline for the applica- tions is December 6th, and the gift dispersal will take place on Dec. 21. Parents, grandparents, or guardians will receive a phone call from the association regard- ing the time and location for the pick-up.
Last year, the Plymouth Fire- man’s Association distributed toys to 173 boys and girls in Plymouth. Mayo said it was their
biggest season ever for Opera- tion Santa and they anticipate that this year will be no different.
“It’s a very busy time for us, but it’s heartwarming to see the reactions and the gratitude of the adults when they pick up the gifts for their kids,” she said.
All donations are greatly ap- preciated. They are now also accepted at the fire department year-round so people can take advantage of post-holiday sales and drop the toys off for next Christmas.
