Community Night Out: Celebrating Bristol's Spirit and Unity
On Thursday, June 27th, Kel- ley Park in Bristol will host the annual Community Night Out, organized by the Town of Bristol Community Events Committee in partnership with the Bristol Fire and Police Departments. The event aims to strengthen community bonds, showcase local resources, and celebrate Bristol's vibrant community spirit.
Starting at 5:30 PM, families can look forward to a thrilling performance by Andrew Silver of the Silver Circus, featuring acrobatics and comedy. Informa- tional booths will not only offer safety tips and resources but also provide a fun way to engage with our local businesses and organi- zations.
In addition to the entertain- ment, attendees will find a va- riety of food options, including free BBQ, popcorn, and ice cream, catering to all tastes. Chil- dren and adults alike can test their skills on a climbing wall or explore fire trucks and police ve- hicles up close. Representatives from the NH Fish and Game Department will also be pres- ent, offering insights into local wildlife and conservation efforts.
Children can explore fire trucks and police vehicles up close, guided by officers and firefighters demonstrating their equipment. Local vendors will offer a variety of food, while live music sets the scene for a festive atmosphere.
Live music by Solitary Man will entertain the crowd from 6:30 to 8 PM, providing a lively soundtrack for the evening's fes- tivities.
Community leaders will share their insights on the importance of unity and community involve- ment, underlining the signifi- cance of this event. Emergency responders will display interactive exhibits that highlight safety mea- sures and innovations, including aerial drone demonstrations, showcasing their commitment to our community's well-being.
Throughout the event, attend- ees are encouraged to engage
with officers from the Bristol Fire and Police Departments and representatives from local resources. These interactions provide valuable opportunities for residents to learn about crime prevention strategies, emergency preparedness, and community safety initiatives. Discussions with officers also foster trust and un- derstanding, strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community they serve. Meanwhile, information shared by local businesses and organi- zations helps residents access essential services and support, enhancing the overall well-being
of Bristol's neighborhoods.
A raffle will offer prizes do- nated by local sponsors, adding excitement to the evening. As the event winds down at 8:00 PM, families will depart with mem- ories of a fun-filled night and eagerness for future community
events in Bristol.
Kelley Park will quiet down
under the stars, marking a suc- cessful and memorable Commu- nity Night Out, uniting residents and showcasing Bristol's com- munity spirit. The Commu- nity Night Out has successfully brought together Bristol residents
of all ages, highlighting local re- sources, providing entertainment, and fostering a sense of unity. This annual event reflects Bris- tol's strong community spirit and leaves attendees looking forward to future gatherings that continue to strengthen neighborhood bonds.
The event's success demon- strates the organizers' dedication and strong community support. Planning for next year's Commu- nity Night Out will begin soon, with hopes of making it an even bigger and more engaging event for all Bristol residents.
