Timeless
No Kings and Plymouth Patriots
On Saturday, June 14th, people traveling through Plymouth could see both sides of the political coin on display. On the side of Tenney Mountain Highway, the weekly flag-waving Plymouth Patriots were celebrating several things. Not only was it Flag Day, but it was their 250th consecutive weekend expressing their patriotism, the 250th Birthday of the U.S. Army, and the 79th birthday of the President. Donald Trump and several members gathered in front of their sign for a photo.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, hundreds of protesters filled the Town Common on what was called “No Kings Day” in cities across the nation. Many carried signs expressing their concerns about recent actions taken by the president as they listened to several speakers over the course of the two-hour demonstration.
