With the busy buzz of Bristol and the better weather now back, we hope you will visit us soon and notice all of the amazing improvements that have taken place at the TTCC. Our years- long renovation project, ‘A Safe Place to Call Home’, is almost complete as we are now planning for our grand re-opening celebra- tion. We will soon be holding an official ribbon cutting ceremony followed by an open house and community cookout at Kelley Park. Stay tuned for future dates, times and further details as you are all cordially invited to attend our re-opening as we usher in the next chapter of the TTCC.
A very special thanks and rec- ognition goes to the NH Com- munity Development Finance Authority (NH CDFA) and their Community Center Invest- ment Program, through which this major renovation work was made possible. The support, guidance and gracious assistance of the CDFA and their staff has been amazing and essential in
bringing this idea to reality. We would also like to thank our Gen- eral Contractor, Paul Fleming and Sons Builders, our architect, Marinace Architects, and all the other contractors who worked on this project. A huge shoutout also goes out to all our patrons and guests, your patience and grace through the crash and the bang of the construction process has been astounding, Thank you.
To wrap up an exciting few months here at the community center, we would also like to re- port on several successful grant awards we have
recently received.
We began 2025
with several sig-
nificant operating
grants; a $10,000
award from the
Couch Family Foundation, a
two-year, $15,000
per year award from the NH Charitable Foundation, and sub- stantial support from the Gran- ite United Way as part of their
responsive grant making initia- tive. We received major support from the NH Electric Cooper- ative Foundation for our 15th Annual, Award-Winning, West- ward Bound Teen Expedition Program, and were also awarded grant support for our Camp As- sistance Program from the Agnes Lindsay Trust and the Oleonda Jameson Trust.
Please stay tuned for the next few TTCC news cycle, things are moving fast and an amazing new future is before us and on the rise. We hope to see you soon!
