About the Hebron Town Library The small but mighty He- bron Library is a bustling hub of community activity on the town common. An average of 140 patrons a month check out books in this quintessential set- ting. Books are loaned through the Interlibrary Loan Program (ILL) at a greater rate than bor- rowed making Hebron a service to the larger Lakes Region. The library offers services to neigh- boring Groton free of charge. The online LIBBY check-out system totaled 1,929 materials in 2023 alone. These include au- diobooks, e-books, and e-mag- azines. In 2023, the library offered 35 programs serving over 750 people to include a pro- gram from the New Hampshire Humanities Council, acclaimed author presentations, a monthly book club, game afternoons, the popular Crafts and Chats, and afternoon classic movies.
