Nearly 50 guests joined the Central New Hampshire Cham- ber of Commerce (CNHCC) for its monthly Business After Hours gathering hosted by White Mountain Karate on Wednesday, March 12 in Holderness.
“We were thrilled to partner with White Mountain Karate on this event,” says CNHCC Exec- utive Director Matty Leighton. “Our hosts Jen and Christian Maine do so much for the com- munity, raising funds for veterans, homeless shelters and other great causes. They’re usually focused on helping others, so we wanted to recognize and celebrate them and White Mountain Karate on this milestone anniversary.”
A Business After Hours events, which are hosted exclusively by CNHCC members, strengthen business connections through ca-
sual networking, and provide an opportunity to learn about new developments in the Central NH community.
Attendees at the March gath- ering enjoyed light refreshments and made connections, and were treated to a demonstration by White Mountain Karate stu- dents. Instructor Taylor Maine led some of the more adventur- ous guests in trying basic karate skills, and Jen Maine, co-owner of White Mountain Karate, spoke to the crowd about the dojo’s history and the training they offer. Leighton provided a Chamber update, and the eve- ning concluded with a door prize drawing.
