For those interested in participating, registration is now open! Entry fee is $85 for the Marathon, $65 for the Half Marathon & $40 for the 10K Road Race (fee goes up by $10 after 8/27 & another $10 on race day). Check in time will be 7:00am-8:45am on race day in the NMMS cafeteria **HALF MARATHONERS MUST CHECK IN BY 8AM ON SATURDAY - LAST BUS LEAVES AT 8AM SHARP!!! Pre-registered runners may also check in on Friday from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Those in- terested in the pasta dinner on Friday may pre-register for $10 or at the door for $12, 5pm-7:30pm. What is distinctive about the art made here? This program will consider works by itinerant and folk painters, landscape artists drawn to the state's scenic vistas, and modern artists that adopted bold styles to depict everyday life in the Granite State. Augus- tus Saint-Gaudens, Childe Hassam, and Maxfield Parrish are some of the artists discussed in this program.

& HAWK WATCH
10am - 2pm - Slim Baker Foundation, 301 New Chester Mountain Road, Bristol, NH. Take a hike up to Inspiration Point for a chance to view the start of the annual fall hawk migration. Many raptors, including Hawks, typically migrate from September through November. Bring your binoculars, patience and sense of adventure while waiting to spot the movement of a hawk along the horizon. From the porch of the Slim Baker Lodge, a tribute to the life and legacy of Everett “Slim” Baker will be on display for all to view. 10am-12pm - Grey Rocks Conservation Area, 178 North Shore Rd, Hebron, NH. Join NLRA Watershed Stewards on a guid- ed paddle of the Northern Newfound Wa- ter Trail. Bring your kayak, canoe, or pad- dleboard for a great morning on the water! This tour of the northern end of the lake showcases a variety of habitats, the wildlife that depend on them, and the conserva- tion efforts that help protect them. This program is free and open to all but regis- tration is required.

7pm - Shotgun Start - The tournament will be held at the scenic Waterville Valley golf course on Friday, September 27th, 2024. Registration for a foursome is priced at $400, or $100 per individual golfer, and offers a fantastic opportunity for teams to compete on a lit-up golf course. The cost includes golf registration fees, glow golf gear including headlamps and balls, a de- licious BBQ buffet, and the opportunity to take a chance on some great raffle prizes.
