The latest timepiece from Bell & Ross, a ladies’ watch seen in this issue’s fashion shoot on old-school Hollywood poolside glamour, is inspired by an astronomical phenomenon: the supernova. The BR S Novarosa is designed to emulate the explosion of a star that emits an intense brightness and has a delicate pink halo. It comes in three finishes (above, £1,600, £5,300 & £5,300), and is also water resistant up to 100m deep. Aside from
being durable, it is also infinitely elegant and beautiful; the bezel in the encrusted versions features 66 diamonds, and the spheres are decorated with a sunray effect, a detail that’s difficult to accomplish.
