Your compassionate heart and generous giving made a significant impact on the families in Rhode Island.
Families are dealing with extraordinary challenges and changes in their lives. Many have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus. Bills are piling up, and food and gas are getting more expensive. As you can imagine, their stress is very high.
Thankfully, you’ve helped families when they needed it most! With your generous gift, Children’s Friend raised over $69,000 to help local families in need.
And with funds that were raised this year during 401Gives day, you provided safe sleep equipment for newborns and strengthened our child advocacy programs. You helped foster families prepare for emergency placement, provided food and rent assistance, and helped with basic human needs for Rhode Island families during these unprecedented times.
