PLANNED GIVING
The Harriet Ware Society
Have you ever felt like you didn’t know where to turn at times during your life experiences? Many of our families have that same feeling but have no resources to support them during such times. That is when Children’s Friend can provide them with what feels like and is a lifeline.
Your commitment to Children’s Friend has ensured that we could provide our services even during a pandemic. The impact of creating a legacy gift today can provide a lifeline to families well into the future.
Our children and their families depend upon us.
Creating a legacy is easy while continuing to provide for your loved ones. You do not have to be elderly, and you do not have to be wealthy; however, it does require compassion and strength to take action.
Wills are the simplest way to create a planned giving action by adding a codicil to your existing document or including Children’s Friend in your will when you make one.
You may be asking, “Why would I do this?”
Perhaps you had adopted your child through the agency, or you are the adoptee; you are passionate about the work Children’s Friend is committed to; the agency had helped you in your past, and you want to give back. The reasons are many. The act is impactful.
The Harriet Ware Society, named for our founder, honors those who help to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our children and families long into the future. We are grateful to the members of the Harriet Ware Society for their vision and generosity:
