También formé parte del Consejo de de de de de de Políticas y y y y en en en en en en en el el el el último año fui el el el el Presidente Este también fue fue un un un un un camino de de de de de de de aprendizaje Me tomó un un un un un tiempo sentirme cómoda y y segura de de de de de de de mí misma para tomar un un un un papel más activo en en en en en en en en la la la educación de de de de de de mis mis mis mis hijos pero una vez que lo lo decidí fue fue maravilloso El equipo de de de de de de compromiso familiar me me me hizo sentir bienvenido y y y y me me me dio dio las las herramientas y y y y la la la la la confianza de de de de de de creer en en en en en en en en en mi mi mi mi mi mi mis- ma ma Yo aprendi mucho solo por por estar en en en en en en en en en las las las reuniones y y y y y me me me dio dio la la la la la oportunidad de de de de tener una voz y y y y y de de de de ver como el programa trabaja para beneficiar a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a los niños y y las las familias Gracias a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a todos en en en en en en en Children’s Children’s Friend por por unos maravillosos cuatro años para para mí y y y y y y para para mis hijos ¡Todos hemos aprendido mucho! I I I I I I was was was also also part of the the the Policy Council and and and in in in the the the last year I I I I I I was was was the the the Chair This was was was also also a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a learning opportunity It took me a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a while to to to to to feel comfortable and and and and and confident about myself myself so so so so that I I I I I I could take a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a more active role in in in in in my my my children’s education but once I I I I I I decided to to to to to go for for it it it it it it has been wonderful The Family Engagement team made me me me me me me feel welcome and and and and and and and gave gave me me me me me me the the the the the the tools and and and and and and and the the the the the the confidence to to to to believe in in in in in myself myself I I I learned so so much attending and and and and and and and helping at at Policy Council meetings and and and and and and it it fit gave gave me me me me me me the the the the the the the opportunity to to to have a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a voice and and and and and and see how the the the the the the the program works for the the the the the the the benefit of the the the the the the the children
