401Gives Thank You!
It is amazing what we can accomplish when we all come together!
This year’s 401Gives Day was a testament to just that. Together, we crushed our goal of $27,000 and raised $53,676 in one day by collectively working together! Children’s Friend finished fourth overall out of the 422 participating non-profit organizations with an impressive 315 donors, representing the second- highest number of donors from any organization.
We asked our community for help, and they responded in a big way. We are so grateful to the 14 sponsors who stepped up to match, dollar for dollar, $15,000 in donations, and to our other 20 sponsors who so graciously supported Children’s Friend in this statewide day of giving.
As the donations poured in ALL day, we recognized so many familiar names, noticed so many new names, and were thankful for the support from all of our Board members.
The money you helped to raise will provide safe
sleep for newborns, strengthen our child advocacy programs, help foster families prepare for emergency placement, provide food and rent assistance, and help with basic human needs for our families during these unprecedented times.
From the bottom of our hearts, we say “THANK YOU” on behalf of those less fortunate families who turn to us in their time of need.
