Example from ‘’Emily's Secret’’: Emily is 8 years old. She has a very big room. She has many toys and a lot of friends. But, Emily is not happy. She has got a secret. She doesn't want to tell anyone her secret. She feels sad and shy. Emily doesn't do her homework and when there is a spelling day in school, she always gets sick. She doesn't tell anyone, but the problem is that she can't read or write. Emily doesn't know all the letters of the alphabet. One day, Emily's teacher understands her problem. She sees that Emily can't write on the board. She calls her after class and Emily says to her teacher that she doesn't know how to read or write. The teacher wants to help Emily. She tells her "That's ok. We can practice together". So Emily and her teacher meet every day after class. They practice together. Emily works hard. Now she knows how to read and write! 13
