RINGMASTER: Ladies and Gentlemen, can you lift an elephant? (audience shouts NOOO) Can you pull an airplane? (audience shouts NOOOO) Our next performer can! Put your hands together for the world’s strongest man, Hercules and his gals!!! Hercules: (comes in doing some push-ups, showing his muscles) What a night! What a show! Are you ready to see my might? Gal 1: Hercules, what a guy! Wowwww, amazing! Isn’t he? Gal 2: Yes, he is stronger than anyone I know! (Both gals try to lift the barbell, but can’t and they shake their fingers as to say no.) Hercules: Are you ready to be amazed? (He lifts the barbell with one finger.) I am great! I am powerful! No human is stronger than me! I am THE BEST! (He puts the barbell down and kisses his arm muscles.) Gal 1: Ooooo, Hercules, you are so strong! Bravo, bravo, braaavo! Gal 2: You are the eighth world wonder! One of a kind! Incredible! Hercules: Not even Superman can beat me! Gal 1 and Gal 2: You are FANTASTIC! Let’s all clap for Hercules. (As the Gals and Hercules leave the stage, everybody shouts ‘’Hercules, Hercules, Hercules....’’) RINGMASTER: The next performance is very dangerous. Please don’t try this at home! You can hurt yourself and others around you. Acrobat 1: It is very difficult and it looks dangerous, too! I am soo scared. Acrobat 2: I can’t do this. I don’t want to fall down. I don’t want to hurt myself. Acrobat 3: What is happening? Don’t worry! I know we can do this! Trust me! Move along, I am waiting! Come on!!!!! 64
