Officials at the Pakistan National Institute of Health have implemented necessary steps to control the spread of COVID-19.
Offices, hospitals and workplaces are taking precautions to reduce the spread of the infection, and so are fertility clinics.
We educate couples to wear masks and use sanitisers at all times, especially during visits to the clinic. We only entertain fully vaccinated couples for any procedure performed in our clinic.
Smog presents another challenge in this country. The air quality index in Lahore has been hazardous with many people suffering from respiratory tract infections.
We advise patients to wear masks, run air purifiers and avoid outdoor activities. We counsel them about any infection that may affect IVF and ICSI procedures.

The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Pakistan (SOGP) conference was held in the city of Multan in November 2022. The aim was to enhance public understanding of gynaecological problems, women health and infertility and to make health care providers aware of guidelines in these areas.
Through such meetings, we also hope to raise awareness of sub-fertility in males and females Finally, LIFE is the only institute in Pakistan running the Certificate in ART course, and I am pleased to report that we have to date certified 98 students.
