of the ASPIRE webinars,
master classes and
certificate courses
ASPIRE continues to receive positive feedback from its expanding on-line educational webinars, masterclasses and certificate courses. These programs maintain a strong professional development focus by ASPIRE as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic and its restrictive impacts on face-to-face meetings.
Professor Virgilio Novero, Chair of ASPIRE’s Education Committee, said the on-line programs would continue to evolve to provide valuable support for quality patient care standards across the region.
“The programs are presented directly by ASPIRE or jointly initiated with the education committee, our special interest groups and the pharmaceutical sector,” he said.
“ASPIRE is working to overcome challenges of varying languages and time zones. For example, it is pleasing that the ASPIRE-CPAM Bridging the Gap Masterclass Webinar Series on Fundamental Concepts in ART provided immediate translations of English presentations to Chinese and Chinese presentations to English.
“I also remind members that our recorded on-line programs are accessible at any time via the education portal on the ASPIRE website.”
Professor Novero said regional meetings provided important backup for ASPIRE annual congresses.
“The regional meetings are presented in countries that have not hosted an ASPIRE congress, for example India, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Nepal,” he explained. “It is most likely that India will host an ASPIRE regional meeting in the near future.”
Participants in the webinars, master classes and certificate courses have been keen to provide feedback about the value of these programs.
Rong Li, Chairperson of the ASPIRE-CPAM Masterclass Webinar Series on the Role of AMH in Fertility, said: “The detection of AMH is basically independent of the menstrual cycle, and it can reflect the ovarian reserve function of women earlier and more accurately.
“It is of great significance for the health management of perimenopausal women, the diagnosis of ovarian granulosa cell tumour, and abnormal sexual differentiation. In recent years, many studies have

taken it as one of the important indicators for developing personalised stimulation programs in the assisted reproduction process to reduce complications and improve pregnancy rates.
“In the fourth ASPIRE-CPAM Masterclass Webinar Series we focused on AMH and reproductive endocrine diseases, which was highly praised by the students.”
Chanakarn Sripong from the Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital in Bangkok participated in the November 2022 on-line program on Artificial Intelligence and Time Lapse.
She said the program was excellent with updates about current applications of artificial intelligence in the ART laboratory and its use as a decision support tool to improve clinical outcomes in her hospital.
Kristine Carlson, Head of Nursing at Demeter Fertility in New South Wales, was a participant in the Certificate Course in Management for ART. She said: “I found the course very informative and enjoyable to attend.
“The content was very relevant, and I have been able to apply many principles to my daily practice, and more effectively communicate and manage my team.
“I feel as though it has allowed me to become a better leader and colleague.”
